about
Freedom Hall Member Passion Ward has been sitting in the back of the studio writing poems, doing voice overs, on the boards in studio sessions, assisting with fashion shows and cooking amazing dinners for the FH Family and Friends at our parties. Not to mention blacking out on stage at the shows! Now she steps out into the world with a brilliant solo track. This is a story of people stuck in a revolving wheel of self imposed limitations.
lyrics
Hard times, desperate measures, how far would you go for a slice of contentment? Looking for your purpose in the land of dead. Show me something tangible that I can hold on to instead. Great masters at work keeping us under their rule and thumb, controlling their subjects, convincing us that all we need is flash to make us smile, we can't even see the negative it exposes. Riches cause envy and greed. Searching for satisfaction in material things, liquid bandaids being served on the rocks, as time passes on that faithful clock. That clock, it knows its purpose, it's sure of it, or is it? We seek acceptance and approval from others who are just like us, unsure. Maybe we're just supposed to wander, dance together to beautiful music and drift. Get from behind these masks we hide behind and live. Are you? Living?
Harboring thoughts with brilliant colors that will never find their way to your canvas if you don't live! Life, it's yours to paint. So, gather your brushes, pour those shades of experience and create.
